This course is suitable for HMA operations managers, project managers, senior supervisors, technical field managers, national authority personnel and partner organisation staff responsible for planning, coordinating or overseeing HMA activity.

Course Overview
HMA operations management requires the ability to convert strategic objectives, donor requirements, national authority priorities and field realities into safe, efficient and accountable operations. The course focuses on operational planning, task coordination, resource management, reporting, quality management, information flow, stakeholder coordination and programme delivery. It supports personnel responsible for managing HMA activity across survey, clearance, EOD, risk education, community liaison and support functions.

Delivery Format

Prerequisites
Entry Requirements
Participants should hold IMAS EOD Level 2 or have prior HMA field, supervisory, management or coordination experience. Entry requirements will be confirmed with the client and may consider participant role, language ability, operational background and intended management responsibilities.
On completion
Expected Outcome
On completion, participants should be able to support the planning, coordination and management of HMA operations within approved procedures, national authority requirements, donor expectations and organisational management systems.
